[치과신문_전영선 기자 ys@sda.or.kr] 한국임상교정치과의사회(회장 최정호·이하 KSO)가 오는 6월 29일 가톨릭대학교 서울성모병원 성의회관에서 ‘Interdisciplinary Orthodontics: Collaboraitve Approaches for Optimal Treatment’를 주제로 제16회 심포지엄을 개최한다.

이번 심포지엄은 총 8개의 강연으로 구성된다. 정주령 교수(연세치대)의 ‘Hopeless를 Hopeful로 전환하는 다학제 교정치료’를 시작으로 △신수정 교수(연세치대)의 ‘Possible endodontic treatment during orthodontic treatment’ △백철호 원장(새이치과교정과치과)의 ‘From Challenges to Solution: The Role of Interdisciplinary Treatment in Complex Cases’ △오카시타 시타로(일본임상교정치과의사회)의 ‘Orthodontist-led comprehensive dentistry’ 등이 오전을 채운다.

오후에는 지혁 원장(미소아름치과)의 ‘Useful clinical application of clear aligner for interdisciplinary dentistry’를 비롯해 △박지운 교수(서울치대)의 ‘Is TMD a contraindication for mandibular advancement device treatment for OSA?’ △조영단 교수(서울치대)의 ‘필러 및 콜라겐을 이용한 치주성형술’ △박기호 교수(경희치대)의 ‘How efficient is surgically-assisted anterior teeth movement?’ 등 강연이 예정돼 있다.

오전과 오후 강연이 끝난 뒤에는 4명의 연자들이 연단이 올라 두 번의 패널 디스커션을 진행, 교정치료에 있어 다학제 간 협진의 중요성을 강조할 예정이다.

KSO 최정호 회장은 “이번 심포지엄에서는 국내외 저명한 8명의 연자를 모시고, 치과교정학과 관련 연구분야의 최신지견이 다뤄질 예정”이라며 “교정의사로서 갖춰야 할 다학제 진료의 핵심과 최신 트렌드를 접할 수 있는 소중한 기회가 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
